Individual Therapy

Let’s work together to find out what’s blocking you from living your most fulfilling life. Pain in life may be unavoidable, but you can overcome the struggle. We can work to identify your core yearnings and then move past your limiting beliefs so that you can live your one precious life as fully as possible. We can turn the hard stuff into healing and growth to improve your mental health. I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents.
Using experiential (e.g., Internal Family Systems/parts work, EFT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques as well as those from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I adapt my therapy approach to work with a variety of concerns. I treat individuals seeking help with struggles such as breakups/divorces/other life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and interpersonal issues, or searching for more meaning and purpose in their lives. It’s important in therapy to address problems head on, but also spend time focusing on unique strengths to help in personal growth.

You may want to work with me if you would like to improve your:

  • Mental health (reducing stress or depressive symptoms)
  • Fulfillment or purpose in life
  • Way of being in your relationships
  • Compassion and acceptance of yourself or of others
  • Living based on your values
  • Tendencies to people-please, which lead to resentment or unmet needs

Although we will work to treat your problems,  the benefits of therapy don’t stop at changing the negative parts of your experience. Good work can also go beyond this: leading to a sense of being fully alive and living your story with a feeling of empowerment, understanding, meaning, and peace.
