Using experiential (e.g., Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EFT, Internal Family Systems/parts work), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques as well as those from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we adapt our therapy approach to work with a variety of concerns. It’s important in therapy to address problems head-on, but also spend time focusing on how you can use your unique strengths to help in personal growth.
