Maddy Rosas, MA, MFTC -Taking Clients!

Welcome!

Mental and relational health means living in alignment with your unique core values and cultivating the life and relationships that truly serve your needs.

If you’re here, something in your life or relationship may feel out of sync. Maybe you’re feeling disconnected from your partner, overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a life transition, or simply sensing that something needs to shift.

Starting therapy takes courage. I recognize the bravery and vulnerability it requires! I am committed to creating a welcoming and safe space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered as you move toward your goals.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in collaboration. I maintain the belief that you are the expert of your life, your relationships, and your experiences. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you deepen your understanding of yourself and cultivate meaningful, lasting change!

Couples Therapy

Our relationships shape our lives. They deserve a space where they can grow and be nurtured!

In couples therapy, we will build on the innate strengths and skills you and your partner(s) are already walking into the room with. Even if things feel stuck right now, there is always something to build from.

Together we will:

  • Enhance communication skills
  • Deepen emotional connection
  • Establish trust and security
  • Identify and break unproductive cycles of communication

I specialize in working with couples who want to improve communication and strengthen their connection. I support couples navigating life transitions, parenting concerns, intimacy challenges, and infidelity. As a clinician, I recognize how complex relationships are and how painful it can feel when disconnection sets in.

My approach draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which emphasizes creating secure, trusting, and emotionally responsive relationships. In our work together, we will seek to better understand your communication patterns and foster a deeper understanding of each partner’s needs and how to express them safely and securely.

Healing is not linear. It can be challenging, vulnerable, and deeply transformative. I will meet you exactly where you are!

Supporting Parents of Children with Disabilities

I am also deeply passionate about supporting parents of children with disabilities. My younger brother has a severe developmental disability, and I have a personal understanding of the unique dynamics this can bring into a relationship and family system.

Raising a child with a disability can bring immense love, and also immense stress. I am here to support couples as they navigate the complexity, the advocacy, the emotional weight, and the impact this may have on their connection.

You deserve support that truly understands your experience!

Individual Therapy

I help individuals who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation concerns.

In our work together, you won’t simply receive coping skills to minimize symptoms. Instead, we will cultivate meaningful healing by deepening your understanding of who you are and how your experiences have shaped you into the unique individual you are today.

We will build resilience so that you feel equipped with the tools you need to manage life’s stressors well beyond our time working together!

I maintain a holistic approach and draw from a variety of modalities to best fit your needs. I trust that you are the expert of your own life, and I will collaborate with you to determine how I can best support you in reaching your goals.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal and build a life that aligns with their needs, values, and aspirations!

More About Me

My clients describe me as warm, collaborative, direct, open, and supportive. Together in therapy, we will cultivate healing through curiosity and collaboration!

I became a therapist because I am truly passionate about people. No two stories are the same, and I feel honored to learn what makes you, YOU!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Olive! We love getting out for hikes and jogs together. While I enjoy concerts and trying new restaurants, I’m also a true homebody, happiest working on an art project, baking something sweet, or getting cozy with a good book or TV show.
